1) How to Care?

After removing the insert, dry clean only !!! Remember, you have a hand crafted item made from delicate fabric here! Every few months, on a sunny, clear day, lay your down inserts outside on a table or drape them over a clothes line. Fluff them up several times and turn after about an hour. The heat will dry out any slight moisture. In addition, the sun and fresh air will give your pillows a wonderfully clean smell.

If you have a sealed cover, you can still dryclean your product. use a clean and dry sponge dipped into the dry cleaning solution to clean the fabric using a circular motion, working it into the piping of the pillow. Again, blot it with clean white towels.

3) What is Ikat fabric?

Ikat is a dyeing technique used to pattern textiles that employs resist dyeing on the yarns prior to dyeing and weaving the fabric. ikat(pronounced ee-kaht) is an ancient style of weaving. In ikat the resist is formed by binding individual yarns or bundles of yarns with a tight wrapping applied in the desired pattern (ikat means "to bind" in the Indonesian language).

Ikat fabrics blend beautifully with other geometric patterns, solids and organic patterns. They work in modern, rustic and traditional homes.
